I have learned today that all of the postings regarding the General Assembly (or even quite simply the election inspectors) were removed from the VEHOA Blog, not by the Webmaster, but by Jeannie Bell.
Not only does MS. Bell choose to ignore the written ruling by Panama's Secretary General that Deed 1937 is the current legal document for V/E (which means there IS NO Steering Committee currently in existence) but now she has decided that she can unilaterally trump the President of the Board of Directors of V/E (who she voted for.)
As if the illegal SC hasn't brought on enough pain & legal fees to all of the valley, now we have a rogue woman operating on her own in a way that will bring her further legal battles upon her return to Panama.Bill McAbee

How can these people serve us of they are also dealing with lawsuits against them for acts they committed in our community. I sure hope they do not have conflicting attorneys and or are not suing our HOA dues to represent them. That would be another crime, right?
From a new homeowner in VE
Hello, my name is Joel and my significant other is Judy. Last June we bought a Villa #15.
We fell in love immediately when we saw the beautiful and tranquil valley. I am sure you must have felt the same way.
However, it wasn't long before we were in the midst of the turmoil. Being first pulled and then pushed in opposite directions, not knowing whom to believe.
Emails were flowing back and forth. It got to the point when I just stopped reading them.
I kinda think that a large part of the community feels the same way.
Apathy sets in and that is why I am asking someone to send this comment as an email to all VE homeowners regarding the above blog post.
Please read it. If not resolved, it will cause a disaster as the drinking water will no longer be drinkable.
As you will read, the current members of the steering committee which consists of only two members
(all of the other members have quit). One member, Carol …....has not been to the valley for over a year and the other, Jeanie Bell left recently and has her house up for sale. This isn't the real problem though. You see, they haven't been paying the bills.
Our problem is the HOA's money has disappeared. The bank account was cleaned out and the books and records disappeared with it. Not only do we not have money to pay bills, but we don't know who needs to be paid.
How do I know this? Look at the above notice which includes the bill that was just sent to the HOA's attorney.
We are in a terrifying situation. There will be no safe water to drink.
Read the letter from the service company, it is in English and Spanish so that there is no misunderstanding.
VE is not only a ship without a captain but it is also without a rudder.
These are desperate times and we home owners can no longer be apathetic.
A group of concerned home owners have banded together to elect a new steering committee and board of directors to bring harmony and fiscal responsibility to VE. In addition new rules will be implemented to make sure that no group will be able to control the community again. They will never be able to operate without oversight and accountability. It is time for us to stand up and be counted. Watch for your emails and read them.
