VE Community,
I wrote a sincere offer to assist and help the owners affected with no power, I asked that it not become a political chatter of conversation and sure enough, the SC wrote a statement on their blog (without sending the response to me personally ) they have made it another "camp your in" response.
I, along with many in this community have made it clear numerous times, but the SC and its members refuse to accept it, WE ARE NOT "ALIGNED" WITH THALIA. We also are not aligned with the Steering Committee and we do have a right to objectively state our independent opinions on any issue as it relates to Valle Escondido as an owner.
So for the last time, DO NOT WRITE ANYMORE THAT I SUPPORT THALIA. I support right and wrong and will always attempt to offer my opinion for solution on this mantra.
Who is responsible for the transformer, I do not know? I offered a remedy for us to go to a 3rd party mediator to decide, but that has been ignored.
There are 17 homes without power and this SC is still worried about the politics of whose side an owner is on versus solving the problem for the owners without power. Really?
Then offer the same to these owners and fight the Liberty Service argument later!
Lets focus on solutions for VE, not whose camp or beliefs we are on. I urge the same with Thalia, I think She has made it clear, She wishes to transfer these assets ASAP, the issue is how and at what level of condition, so lets go to a mediator and wrap this up ASAP! So we can all agree to move on, Agreed?

YOU WANT TO BET IF THE SC DID NOT HAVE POWER TO THEIR HOME THIS WOULD ALREADY BE FIXED! THIS IS SO SHAMEFUL. I AM NOW EMBARRASSED TO BE A PART OF OUR ONCE BELOVED VALLE ESCONDIDO.
I am so disappointed that the SC refuses to alleviate the misery and discomfort of our fellow residents, who are without power, based on advice of their lawyer. It is discouraging that the homeowners' needs are superseded by dueling parties' intentions to win a game of tag. Regardless of who's right or wrong or where responsibility lies, the fact remains that the SC's first and foremost obligation is towards the homeowners. The VEHOA is our association and we provide its subsistence with our dues. Take care of the members first and fight your wars later. If the SC refuses to step up to the plate, this may be our reality call to hold back our dues.
Teri is right! What is bothersome to
me is the an owner who is lockstep with the SC calls this site "The Trash" site as if he is an authority of right and wrong. A person who does not care that the SC chairman is a habitual liar. I guess these type of folks all get along in the same character of DNA. These are the same type of owners who will defend the SC actions til the end do to their vile hatred of Thalia; I don't know why they do not sell their property if they hate it so much in VE. Oh they can't, these folks did a good job destroying their own property values where no one will purchase in VE now unless a fire sale! Smart group this SC bunch!
